What does the hostel module cover?
Hostels, rooms, student allocations, mess and mess allocations, hostel payments and refunds, roll calls, absentees, attendance register and reports, round log, leave register, a not-returned list, attendance slots, duty roster and settings.
Can the warden take roll call on a phone?
Yes. Hostel attendance is part of the Android app as well as the web panel, so the warden can take the roll at the door and not at a desk later.
How are students who do not come back tracked?
When a student goes on hostel leave or out-pass, the not-returned list shows who has not come back, so the warden does not find out at the next morning’s count.
Are hostel fees separate from school fees?
Hostel payments and refunds are recorded in the hostel module and sit beside the student’s school fees, so the parent sees one picture.
Can parents see hostel attendance?
Parents see attendance in the parent app. If you want a specific hostel view for parents, ask for it in the demo so we can confirm what is enabled for your plan.
